About the show The Gods of Olympus - Prometheus and Fire
The show The Gods of Olympus - Prometheus and Fire aims to take both young and adult viewers on a journey through time, where they will discover fascinating mythological characters and events. They will meet the deities of Ancient Greece and learn the story of fire, gifted to humanity by Prometheus.
We find ourselves in Ancient Greece when the bonds between mortals and gods were strong. The gods created humans in their image and likeness, and they were venerated and offered sacrifices. After many centuries, peace and harmony reigned both in Olympus and on Earth. But things began to change.
People were becoming increasingly independent, more prosperous, and began to forget the subservience they owed to the gods. Seeing their behavior, Zeus, the supreme leader of the gods, decided to punish mortals. He called the other gods to him and together they decided to take away the ability of people to light fires on Earth. Without the power of fire, mortals would suffer terribly. However, Zeus had another problem... Discover on May 25!
