About the Cinderella - The Voice of the Kingdom show
Ella, a shy and introverted girl from modern times, is a sensitive soul who can only express herself through song, giving voice to her true personality, and when she is on stage, she shines. The protagonist wants to audition for the premiere of “Cinderella” at her high school. The roles of the evil stepsisters Grizella and Anastasia are played by two actors to achieve a comic, satirical, and caricatured effect of the mean, un-feminine, and talentless sisters. Their performance contrasts with Ella's sensitivity and tenderness.
Her dream is to make her voice heard, to be a complete artist: to sing, to dance, to be like the heroines from the childhood stories her mother read to her when she was little. Ella is not just a simple character who dreams of being a princess; she wishes to develop and express her artistic talent in its fullness, including singing and dancing.
The Ambassador Musical Theatre, the only theatre for children and youth under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.
