Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău and settled in Bucharest, immediately after the year he started college.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and he fondly remembers the beautiful years of college, the years that marked the beginning of his career as a comedian. He does not regret a second that he chose the path of being a humorist and remains fully grateful to all those who have provided him with inspiration and help throughout this journey of life, both from the country and abroad.

After countless comedy shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD continues to be the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up both before and after the 1990s. Always, his talent and professional performances have been the measure of the novel and the promotion of a complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through the comedy of this great popular artist one learns the art of intelligent, pure humor and the taste of naturalness.
