Paul Staicu brings to Constanța the national tour "Classic Jazz Voyage", a concert in which the boundaries between genres disappear, and the piano is what unites the music of the great Bach, Mozart, Beethoven with jazz and improvisation.

On October 7, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM, the "Regina Maria" National College of Arts in Constanța hosts a special musical event: "Classic Jazz Voyage", the national tour presented by pianist Paul Staicu.

What happens when classical music refuses to stay "within its frame" and enters into a direct dialogue with jazz? And if Bach, Chopin, Mozart, Liszt, Beethoven, Debussy, Rachmaninov, and composers like Bix Beiderbecke or J.P. Johnson meet at the same table, where does the classical end and where does the jazz begin?

This is the artistic gamble of the tour: to reject the boundaries between genres and to offer the public a musical journey in which classical repertoires and jazz meet, transform, and challenge each other.

The program features works by Chopin, Elton John, Prokofiev, Clare Fischer, Mozart, Liszt, J.P. Johnson, Beethoven, Bix Beiderbecke, Debussy, Bernstein, Rachmaninov, C. Corea, Bach, and Julie Styne, a selection that transforms the concert into a dynamic, surprising experience that cannot be confined to a single style.
