CURSE OF HAPPINESS

"Curse of Happiness" is a Romanian show in its essence - from sound, from roots, from tears. It's a return home, to where love was once elevated to the rank of art, and the artist sang not only with their voice, but with all the pain, beauty, and dignity of the soul.

This musical confession is a bond with the past and an offering to a love that burned, but did not die. It is the story of a woman who was not afraid to love to the end - and, at that end, found the song.

The repertoire is a journey through doinas, romances, folk songs and original creations, all woven around a cursed and holy love.
"Until I loved you", "Lie Ciocârlie", "Do you remember, my dear Marie", "Oh, little heart", "May the devil take you, love", "Do I deserve it", "I will no longer part from you", "Heart", "Where is Târgoviște" or "Rose from Moldova" - are songs that are not sung, but lived.

Alongside Stephanie Radu, artists who complete this picture of Romanian feeling come on stage:

🎙️ Daniela Matache, a deep and authentic voice of Romanian song.
