🎶 The Great Hill Music Club invites you to a special evening with STORYTELLERS - Marcian Petrescu & Angelo Eduard Stoica. ✨
They say it will be a unique folk-blues evening, in which legendary songs from the history of American and British blues are intertwined with fascinating stories, more or less known, about their authors!
🎤Marcian Petrescu is currently considered the best harmonica player in Romanian blues. He has four studio albums, the most recent being "Mai mult decât blues" (2018).
He is the only musician in Romanian blues who has managed to have as special guests on his albums three of the most important and renowned harmonica players from the USA: Sugar Blue, Charlie Musselwhite and Rick Estrin.
🎤Angelo Eduard Stoica is a talented and versatile young guitarist, a blues lover. He sang reggae in The Rooftop, rock with AP3, with whom he released two singles. Among the appearances on TV shows, invitations to radio stations, festivals and music competitions, he attended the Songwriting & Composition summer courses of the "Berklee College of Music" in Boston, USA.
With the acoustic project STORYTELLERS, a series of legendary songs from old American and British folk and blues are brought back on stage, from Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Sonny Boy Williamson, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Big Bill Broonzy, Little Walter, Muddy Waters, etc. , but also a few songs by Marcian, in Romanian, but in a unique orchestral guise.
🎭 The show is very dynamic and is peppered with a series of funny stories about the songs and their authors.
