A sad comedy with Marius Manole, Carmen Tănase and Maria Obretin. Or a cheerful drama, also with the three of them. "On the other hand" is the latest play written by Lia Bugnar and manages to take you from bursts of laughter to emotion from one second to the next. A story about the effect words can have on someone's life. Words that we say casually, without realizing what a whirlwind they cause in the soul and how much strength you need not to let them bring you down. A serious story told in the most comical way possible.
A story that leaves the spectator with no other choice but to laugh, but also to go home with some questions about themselves and the way they treat those around them. Marius Manole, Carmen Tănase and Maria Obretin, besides the fact that they are three wonderful actors, also have the advantage of being very good friends in real life, which is visible on stage and felt in the way they put their souls together to offer the most emotional, tender and comic story to the spectator.
Anyone who has seen "What do we have here?" and liked it, now has the opportunity to see the three of them again, mixed by Lia Bugnar, turned upside down three times and laid out again on stage in a completely different play. For the actors, the fact that the absolute premiere will be abroad and not in Romania, makes the whole story all the more delicate, risky, panicking, but also precious. With the hope that actors and spectators will be left with a pleasant memory, let's go see "On the other hand"!
