A REPERTOIRE THAT INVITES CONTEMPLATION AND REVERIE
In an era dominated by technology, Marija Rašić's recital proposes an oasis of aesthetic refinement, transporting the audience to an era in which melodies came to life under the pen of masters and ennobled the royal palaces and noble courts of Europe.
The chosen repertoire includes creations signed by emblematic composers, such as: Sylvius Leopold Weiss, Wolff Jakob Lauffensteine, David Kellner, Esaias Reusner, all performed on the splendid baroque lute – an instrument of particular elegance, rarely heard on the stages of Romania.
„The recital at Sala Dalles represents for me an emotional fusion between the subtle echoes of the past and the vibrant sensitivity of the present. My aspiration is to create an authentic connection with the audience, through this timeless music, which transcends linguistic barriers and only requires a careful ear and an open heart,” Marija Rašić confessed.
In a musical landscape often governed by fleeting trends, Marija Rašić's presence on the Bucharest stage constitutes an act of pure artistic elegance. The audience will witness a unique performance in Romania, realized with an authentic historical instrument and with a rigorously documented stylistic approach.
