VIENNESE ROYAL – EXTRAORDINARY CHRISTMAS CONCERT
ORCHESTRA DI TEATRO D’OPERA ITALIANA, one of the most famous orchestras in Europe, has been applauded on the grand opera and philharmonic stages worldwide. It is enough to mention a few traditional venues: Brucknerhaus Linz (Linz Philharmonic), Bregenz Festspielhaus (Bregenz Philharmonic), Brunnenhof der Residenz München (Imperial Palace of Munich), Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Stadthalle Vienna, Meistersingershalle Nürnberg, Kasemattenbuehne Graz, etc.
The orchestra's recognition is also given by collaborations with great names of world lyricism, soloists and conductors from the Arena of Verona, La Scala Theatre of Milan, Rome Opera House, Vienna State Opera, etc.
Members of the Orchestra di Teatro D’Opera Italiana are joined by instrumental artists from ORCHESTRA OPEREI VOX, known and appreciated nationally and internationally. It is a new concept in Romania, where instrumental artists from two top European orchestras join forces to offer the public memorable evenings and unique musical experiences.
FROM JOHANN STRAUSS TO BOGDAN COSTACHE OR ABOUT THE VIENNESE MODEL OF CONDUCTING WITH A VIOLIN IN HAND!
The musical direction of the show will be provided by the young conductor and solo violinist BOGDAN COSTACHE and, thus, the invited soloists and instrumentalists from Vienna, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, will perform under the baton of one of the most talented conductors of the young generation, born in Romania! His presence BOGDAN COSTACHE in this year's VIENNESE GALA program is thanks to you, the audience who already love him so much and have shown yourselves impressed by his performance, wishing to see him again as soon as possible. Thus, the show will be interactive, conducted "with violin in hand" in the style of JOHANN STRAUSS or, more recently, of ANDRE RIEU.
And this year, Bogdan will surprise you with many pieces in their first national audition. Romanian music will also be present, long-forgotten Romanian pieces, as well as wonderful Romanian carols.
THE SHOW WILL BE COMPLETED BY THE VOX OPERA CHOIR AND BALLET
The orchestra members are joined by THE VOX OPERA BALLET ENSEMBLE with the long-awaited moments of waltzes, polkas, can-can, în an effervescent and engaging choreography signed by Vlad Sebastian, so you will be invited to dance by our orchestras themselves and our dancers, through the famous „Alles Walzer!”
The beautiful carols and Christmas songs will also shine through the voices of THE VOX OPERA CHOIR. This year too, you will enjoy our traditional Romanian carols.
YOUNG TALENTED ROMANIANS AT THE BEGINNING OF THEIR JOURNEY!
Each year, we take on the mission to present to you and promote exceptionally talented young Romanian musicians, at the beginning of their careers, who have already won awards at national and international music competitions. This year, the very young guitarist Gabriel Popescu, along with his professor and mentor Mădălin Antonesei, will perform alongside our orchestra.
