KIDNAPPING

The play "Kidnapping" is born from the need to laugh at ourselves, at our neighbors, and at the adversity that surrounds us. When those who are supposed to take care of our well-being steal from us and ignore us, there is nothing left to do but take matters into our own hands.
Paco, our protagonist, in a desperate attempt to save his job and avoid losing his home, decides to take extreme measures, thus becoming a vigilante, like Charles Bronson, like Batman… But Paco is neither Charles Bronson nor Batman, Paco is just Paco… a butcher from the Latin Market…. he is just a character in the hilarious comedy "Kidnapping", written by Fran Nortes. And we, at the end of the show, have no choice but to laugh, to enjoy, to accept who we are, and to trust that everything will be alright.
