Here's the dead man, he's not the dead man
A three-act police comedy (and countless headaches)
July 17, 2026, 7:00 PM
Paris, the '70s. In a boring notary office, smelling of old files, limoncello, and reheated coffee, a corpse appears. Or at least, that's what everyone thinks... The chief inspector comes to investigate, but he's more concerned with his cold pills and his nerves than with the case. He's sick, he's irritated, and he can't stand fools – which is a problem, because everyone seems to be exactly that. Especially his assistant, the agent accompanying him.
The cabinet's employees are busy with essential things: lying, playing innocent, and pretending not to hide anything (although they all hide something). In the general chaos, the only one who seems to have two functional neurons is the secretary. She's not a detective, but she's seen enough bad movies to know how this works. And, with an almost unhealthy calm, she starts putting the clues together, while the rest stumble over them.
"Here's the dead man, he's not the dead man" is a police comedy about murder, confusion, stupid lies, and a Paris where nothing is what it seems – especially the corpses. With a fast pace, witty lines, and a finale that makes no sense... until it does, "Here's the dead man, he's not the dead man" is a carousel that takes you between comedy and suspense for 2 hours.
