The comedy written by NICOLE DUTU is the best Romanian comedy play written in Romania after 1989. A play that is reminiscent of both Caragiale and Musatescu, without any trace of imitation, which has the quality of compiling the best styles of writing comedy from Romanian dramaturgy.

In a family from Iasi, lives a small provincial politician, Napoleon Piciorus, bankrupt, beardless, stupid, and innocent. The party, "the system," chooses him, for his naivety, to be the "hero" of the party's interests and of the established swindlers at the head of the party.
The political games of absolute comic flavor are countered by Napoleon Piciorus's mother-in-law, played MAGISTRALLY AND EXPLOSIVELY by the extraordinary CARMEN TANASE.
Young girls are also absorbed into this fantastic world of power and money, completing a picture of total comedy!
