"Old Love" takes place in our days, which connects for almost three decades the petty clerk Bud Mitchell and his boss's wife, Molly Graham, with sporadic meetings and discussions sprinkled with humor, quickly forgotten by her, but constituting stones of a solid affective construction for him. But the decisive step is not taken until the two are alone, free from family obligations, she widowed, he divorced.
