The show "Răpire" (Kidnapping) is born from the need to laugh at oneself, at one's neighbor, and at the adversity that surrounds us. When those who are supposed to take care of our well-being steal from us and ignore us, there is nothing left to do but to take measures in this regard.
Paco, our protagonist, in a desperate attempt to save his job and to avoid losing his house, decides to take extreme measures, thus becoming a vigilante, like Charles Bronson, like Batman… But Paco is neither Charles Bronson nor Batman, Paco is just Paco… a butcher from the Latin Quarter… he is just a character in the bubbly comedy “Răpire” (Kidnapping), written by Fran Nortes. And we, at the end of the show, have no choice but to laugh, to rejoice, to accept who we are and to have faith that everything will be alright.
