Luceafărul Hall (str. Ion Ghica no. 3)
What happens when the lights go out and everyone has something to hide?
A power outage turns an elegant evening into total chaos, where lies come to light even in the dark.
Black Comedy is an explosive situation comedy, full of entanglements and characters who collide - literally!
Brindsley Miller, a young opportunistic sculptor, plans an impeccable evening to impress both his father-in-law, a stern colonel, and the millionaire interested in his sculptures, a possible investor. For the decor, he secretly "borrows" his neighbor's furniture - only, just before the show of appearances begins, a power outage occurs.
What follows is a carousel of confusion, blunders and tangled identities. In the dark (for the characters) and in the "light" (for the audience), unexpected characters begin to appear: a jealous ex-girlfriend, curious neighbors, the nervous fiancée and, of course, the robbed neighbor. They all collide, literally and figuratively, in a series of lies, misunderstandings and desperate attempts to maintain appearances.
As the chaos amplifies, nothing can be hidden anymore. The power outage becomes the short circuit that reveals the truth of each one.
