My Operettas 75 Years – Homage and Musical Spectacle

We invite you to a special event: "My Operettas 75 Years".
On November 7th, the day on which Romanian operetta celebrates 75 years (since 1950), we pay homage to the great tenor Ion Dacian, who transformed the Operetta Theater into a true national brand.
The event is a unique opportunity to listen to a selection of famous arias from classic operettas and musicals. It is a bridge between the history of the genre and our modern vision – that of making operetta a current, accessible, and lively spectacle.
Prof. Doctor Stephan Poen is the special guest of this evening, who will present relevant moments from the activity of Ion Dacian and the evolution of the operetta in these 75 years.
The show takes place in the elegant Operetta Lounge atmosphere in the theater foyer, the artistic program being structured in two parts of 40 minutes each.
